This article explores the potential for integrating artificial intelligence technologies into IT project management processes with the aim of improving the effectiveness of risk forecasting and optimizing management decisions. It analyzes modern approaches to IT project management and identifies their limitations in conditions of high uncertainty and a dynamic environment. It examines the application of machine learning, data analytics, and neural networks for identifying, assessing, and forecasting risks.
A conceptual model for integrating artificial intelligence into the IT project management system is proposed, which includes data collection and processing levels, an analytical level, a results interpretation level, and a management decision-making level. The feasibility of using AI to transition from reactive to proactive project management is substantiated.
The practical significance of the study is confirmed by the example of implementing the proposed approach in the operations of the IT company European Regional Agency LLC. It has been established that the use of AI allows for reducing risk levels, increasing planning accuracy, optimizing resource utilization, and improving the quality of management decisions.
The results obtained can be used to develop intelligent IT project management support systems and improve risk management methods in the context of digital transformation.
