A problem tree and a goal tree were constructed to better understand the aspects of developing a mobile application. The main potential issues were identified: chaotic arrangement of functional blocks, insufficient popularity of the application, and malfunctioning of the mobile app. The goals were defined as follows: analysis of the information market, development of UX/UI design, conducting a marketing campaign, mobile application development, and release.
The process of mobile application development was modeled using the IDEF0 methodology, which is a powerful tool for ensuring a clear and structured approach to design. The IDEF0 methodology enables the visualization of key stages of the process, identification of each system element's functions, and the establishment of interrelationships between them. A context diagram was created and subsequently decomposed. Functional block diagrams for "Develop UX/UI design of the mobile application," "Perform layout design," "Test the developed mobile application," and "Release the mobile application" were presented. Prototypes of typical pages were demonstrated using a mobile application for tracking nutrition and physical activity as an example.
